Book Review: A Perfect Blood

Today's review is on A Perfect Blood by Kim Harrison

It's hard to believe that I have now read all 10 of the books in this amazing series. Though there were a few that I felt were a bit below the mark for Harrison, this one, as well as most of the others hit the nail right on the head.

This continuing saga between good and evil isn't always black and white. Especially when it comes to Rachel and Trent. And it seems that these two star-crossed "lovers" can never get a break. You know you want them together, and you know that they would be great together, but there is always something in the way, and in this book it's no different.

The radial group HAPA wants to eradicate all of the supernaturals. Now they have begun using magic themselves, and are kidnapping witches with the Rosewood virus in their blood. They want to use it to make their own demon. But so far they haven't had any luck. All they have been able to do is turn their prisoners into a sort of goat like creature before they die and agonizing death.

Rachel realizes that her friends are moving on with their lives and "leaving her behind" thinking that she will be left all alone. But she cannot dwell on that. She has "bad guys" to catch. And though she is trying to work with both the FBI and IS, she finds that there is only one person she can really trust. Trent.

Since getting his daughter back, Rachel has noticed a change in Trent. A change that she really likes. But can these two bridge the gap between them? Will they come out of this case alive? Only one of these questions will be answered in A Perfect Blood, the other will have to wait for the next book. I hope that the answer is what I want it to be!!

Another fantastic hit!!
